Anne Elizabeth (Fraser) Ambrose age 91 of Ayer formerly of Beverly and Stoneham passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Nashoba Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Robert W. Cogan and the late Paul F. Ambrose.

Anne was born on July 18, 1927 in Somerville, a daughter to the late Joseph and Elizabeth (MacLean) Fraser. Family was paramount in Anne's life. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. In addition to spending time with her family, Anne enjoyed traveling, cooking and baking. Anne was famous for several dishes including; baked beans, birthday cakes and her potato salad. Before his passing, she and Paul were avid dancers. The couple would go out and make up the moves as they went along and would always make their dances look great. Anne was loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing her and she will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her children, Michael Cogan and his wife Judy of Tewksbury and Donna Castle of Ayer, her grandchildren, Anthony Santino and wife Angela of Indiana, Marc Santino and wife Cristina of Medford, Amanda Morse and husband Edward of New Ipswich, NH, Eric Cogan of Lowell and Paul Cogan of Tewksbury, her great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Santino, Hannah Santino, Addison Morse and Alyssa Santino. She is also survived by her brothers Alexander Fraser of Burlington and John Fraser of Billerica. She was predeceased by her daughter Linda A. Santino, brothers Joseph Fraser, Hugh Fraser and sisters Abigail Jean Fraser and Elizabeth Foskitt.

Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Anne on Sunday, February 3, 2019 from 2:00-5:00 pm in the Badger Funeral Home, 347 King St., Littleton. Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, February 4, 2019 at 10:00 am at St. Patrick Church, 71 Central Street, Stoneham. Burial will follow at Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
