Betty Jane Bees, 88, a resident of Denton, MD for 2 years and formerly of Orchard Beach, died Sunday, December 4, 2016 at Caroline Nursing and Rehab Center. Mrs. Bees was born May 8, 1928 in Baltimore, MD to the late William and Sarah Adams. Mrs. Bees worked in Sales as a clerk for many department stores in the Baltimore Metropolitan area. In the past, she was a member of the St. Jane Senior Group. She enjoyed bingo, crossword puzzles, crocheting and being with her family. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bees is preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Maurice Bees and daughter Deborah L. Shreve. She is survived by her sons George Bees and his wife Sandy of Orchard Beach, Jim Bees of Denton, MD, brothers Charles Adams of Dundalk, Wilbur Adams of WV, sisters Jackie Zulauf of Linthicum, Gloria Love of Brooklyn Park, 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and several great grand dogs. Friends may call Thursday, December 8th from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm with a memorial service starting at 8:00 pm at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Road, Pasadena, MD 21122.
