Earl D. "Radar" Blake of Ocean Isle Beach, NC, 74, formerly of Greensboro, died Monday, May 16, 2016 in McLeod Seacoast Medical Center, Little River, SC.

Radar was born on March 16, 1942 in Guilford Co, a son of Irene Coble Blake and the late Clarence Blake.
Mr. Blake was a mason and a shriner. He was a licensed captain and his passions involved fishing and woodworking.

In addition to his mother, he was survived by his wife of 55 years, Judy Blake; three daughters, Amy Blake, of Greensboro, Wendy Mills (Blaine), of Greensboro, and Anita Moore (Kevin), of Calabash; three beloved grandchildren, Zachery Kinley, Sydney Mills, & Levi Moore; and three brothers, Gary Blake (Lorene), of N. Wilkesboro, Harold Blake (Judith) of Greensboro, and Wayne Blake (Diane), of Little Elm, TX.

A Celebration of Life was conducted at 2 pm on Thursday, May 19th in the Brunswick Funeral Service Chapel, by the Rev. Joel Long.

Family received friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

The family requests in lieu of flowers memorials be directed to the Shriners Hospital for Children, Office of Development, 2900 Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL 33607.
