Jason Victor Adams, 51, of Krum passed away at his home on January 28, 2019. He was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Jim and Sue Adams.
He was a graduate of Lewisville High School, Texas A&M, Tarlton State University and the University of North Texas. He worked as a Retirement Advisor of Fidelity Financial.
He played for Denton Rugby for many years with his lifelong friends which he would have called them family, and recently got to enjoy watching his son play for them as well. He loved his church home and church family, no matter what he endured he never lost his faith. He found comfort in listening to gospel music as well as classic rock. He never met a stranger, he would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He was a great man. He adored his sister, she was his best friend and he was hers, he admired and respected his loving parents. He was a true family man.
Above all he was a father. He took all his girls shopping even if he dreaded it. He listened and held his girls when we would cry about boys and let us know that no one will ever be good enough for “his angels”.
He loved watching the Cowboys on Sunday’s with his son. He was each one of our biggest fan. He was our best friend, he was our dad. Recently he became more than a dad, he was PaPa to Brynlee Erin Crockett, they would watch countless episodes of Masha and Bear together while eating breakfast. She loved him dearly. Zayden Victor Miramontez is due in May, although he never met his PaPa here on Earth, he will hear many stories about how much his PaPa already loved his grandson. Anyone who met him knew he was the kindest, most selfless, most amazing man and the world will not quite be the same without him here. We cannot wait to see him again.
He is survived by his daughters; Victoria Crockett and husband Tanner, Ailie Adams both of Gainesville, Texas, Brynnah Adams of Krum, Texas, son, Justin Adams of Denton, Texas, parents, Jim and Sue Adams, sister, Michelle McCurrach of Melissa, Texas, two grandchildren, Brynlee Crockett and Zayden Miramontez.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Friendship Church in Denton, Texas. Services will be held at the church following visitation at 11:00 AM with Pastor Danny Helms. Interment will follow at Jackson Cemetery in Krum, Texas.
