Iva Rose Loveless, 90, of Carlinville died at 6:42 p.m. Monday, June 30, 2008, at Carlinville Area Hospital. She was born Oct. 30, 1917, the daughter of Henry C. Behme and Clara M. Rhodes. She married Richard E. "Dick" Loveless Dec. 30, 1939, in Carlinville; he preceded her in death on Sept. 8, 1997.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Wendell L.; and two sisters, Lela Robinson and Myrtle Karrick.
She is survived by two sons, Wesley E. Loveless and Jerel D. "Jerry" (Marilyn) Loveless, of Carlinville; 10 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Stella Coffee of Sparta, Ester Fagerberg of Bloomington, Verna (Dick) Knudson and Irene Peacock, all of Carlinville; four brothers, Henry Behme Jr. of Carlinville, Floyd (Judy) Behme of Nilwood, Erwin (Barb) Behme and Carl (Charlene) Behme, all of Carlinville; and several nieces and nephews.
Iva was a homemaker and worked at the Carlinville Glove Factory for more than 25 years. She loved gardening and caring for her flowers.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2008, at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 3, 2008, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Betty Coffee officiating. Funeral song will be "How Great Thou Art." Pallbearers will be Joe Knudson, Jeff, Chris, Darren and Danny Behme.
Burial will be at Mayfield Memorial Park Cemetery in Carlinville.
Memorials may be made to Carlinville Area Hospital Building Fund.
