RAY THOMAS PELFREY age 74 of Crab Orchard, TN passed away January 28, 2019. He was born July 14, 1944 in Crab Orchard, TN the son of Garland and Artie Kirkland Pelfrey. He was the owner of Pelfrey Tree Service and was a United States Army veteran having served during Korea. He was also a member of Harriman Church of God of Prophecy.
He is survived by his wife- Judy Pelfrey of Crab Orchard, TN, son- Spencer Pelfrey and his wife Reba of Crab Orchard, TN, daughter- Beverly Potter and her husband Terry of Harriman, TN, brothers- Walter Pelfrey of Crossville, TN and Ralph Pelfrey and his wife Jean also of Crossville, TN and grandchildren- Casie Scarberry and her husband Josh, Grace Sharp and her husband Josh, April Pelfrey and Emily Cook and her husband Olen.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister- Ruby Ann Pelfrey.
Funeral services will be held Thursday January 31, 2019 at 1pm from the Chapel of Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday January 30, 2019 from 6-8pm at Hood Funeral Home. Burial will be in Haley’s Grove Cemetery.
