Laurie is survived by her Aunt and Uncle Greg (Virginia) Herreid; cousins Mark Herreid and Barbara Considine; long-time friends Sharon Trocke-Schramer, Kim Bailey, and Judy Halverson; and her many beloved furry friends. She was preceded in death by her siblings Adele Seeber and Lee Seeber.
Laurie was bright, loving, and had a good sense of humor. She was an avid reader, did volunteer work at WILL-TV, and mentored disadvantaged children. Laurie was an active foster mother for Hospice Hearts and Catsnap. She graduated from William Fremd High School in 1976 and then attended the University of Illinois. Laurie was a dear friend that will be greatly missed.
