She was 81. Wanda was born and raised in Iowa.
She made Chattanooga her home in 1967 with her husband and family. Wanda loved Chattanooga and the Tennessee Valley. She was a devoted wife and mother. Wanda made friends very easily and had many of them because she loved people and animals too. She was always ready to get in the car and go for a long ride or on a road trip. She was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church.
Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Al Nayadley, Sr., and son, Charles Nayadley, as well as her mother, father, and two brothers.
She is survived by her four children; two sons, Al (Cindy) Nayadley, Jr. of Ooltewah, Tenn. and Steven (Angela) Nayadley of Higdon, Al.; two daughters, Cindy (Steven) Granger of Harrison, Tenn. and Sandy Mendenhall (Mark Bates) of Harrison, Tenn., one sister, Betty Brewer of Muscatine, IA.; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 in the chapel of Hamilton Funeral Home with Dr. Steve Granger officiating. Interment will follow in Harrison Cemetery. Grandsons and great grandsons Jesse, Dustin, Aaron, Josh, Travis, Cade and Ryan will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, January 28, 2019 and from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at the funeral home.

From the bottom of our hearts a special thanks to Megan, Morgan, Pepper, Stephanie, Nina, Vera, Lisa, Drew, Barb, Sopheca, Yolanda, Diane, Alice, Sandra, Tammy, LaRhonda, Brenda, Sheila, Connie, Caroline, Paula, Ashley, Eli and the kitchen staff, and to Travis from Hearth Hospice. There were many more people that made Wanda comfortable, from the bottom of our hearts, we thank you."
