Daniel C., age 63, of Waynesville and formerly of Centerville, passed away Sat. Jan. 26, 2019.

Daniel worked more than 20 years for Dayton Wheel Products and later retired from Sinclair Community College after 10 more years of service. An Eagle Scout, he was actively involved in Troop 95 Okaw Valley in Tuscola, IL. Loyal, friendly, and outgoing, Daniel greatly enjoyed fishing, camping, riding the lawn tractor and especially his dog, Annie.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Barbara Blausey. He is survived by his son Daniel Blausey Jr. (fiancee Reagan Russell); three grandchildren Cambrie, Cayden, and Jordyn; Daniel Jr.’s mother, Duanea Daniels; and three siblings David (Waverley) Blausey, Joann (Jody), and Jackie.

Services will be scheduled at a later date. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville is serving the family. Daniel had a special place in his heart for the well being of animals. Therefore, in lieu of flowers, you are encouraged to donate to your locale humane society in his memory.
