"Mrs. Agnes Hunter Laidley Burgoyne, aged 79, died last night at her home on Walnut avenue. She had been confined to her bed for several months and had been an invalid even longer.
Mrs. Burgoyne was born on November 28, 1841, on Dunkard Mill Run, Marion county. On October 9, 1866, she married Louis Emrey Burgoyne. They lived near the section of her birth until 1898, when they moved to Fairmont, where they have lived ever since. Mrs. Burgoyne was the youngest of a family of 13, all of whom are now dead. She was very active in the First M. E. church being a member, and an ardent worker in the Sunday school.
She is survived by her husband, and her two sons, Clarence E. and Clyde R. Burgoyne, both of Fairmont, and one daughter, Mrs. Edith Lillian Dusch, of Alliance, Ohio. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at :00 o'clock at the residence. Rev. C. E. Goodwin and Rev. W. J. Eddy will conduct the services. Interment will be made in the Laidley cemetery near Fairview by Undertaker Jones."
