Terry Stanton, 66, of Williamsport, formerly of Logansport, passed away at 9:44 PM on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born on August 27, 1952 in Logansport, he was the son of the late Paul and Evelyn (Green) Stanton.

He was married to Kimberly Moss, who preceded him in death on February 8, 2018.

A graduate of Caston High School, Terry was proud to be a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving from 1971-1974 during the Vietnam War.

Terry had worked as a correctional officer at the Miami County Correctional Facility.

He grew up attending the Bethlehem United Methodist Church. Terry was a NASCAR fan. He also loved watching football, especially when the Colts were playing.

He is survived by six children; three brothers; one sister; seventeen grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife and his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his sister, Diana Minnick.

A memorial service celebrating the life of Terry Stanton will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, January 31, 2019 in the chapel at Ever-Rest Memorial Park. Military rites will follow with honors accorded by the Cass County Honor Guard and the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard. Friends will be received at the cemetery chapel from 1:30 PM on Thursday until the time of the service.

Burial will take place at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
