Officer Katlyn N. Alix-Meyer, DSN 11457, received her commission and entered the Police Academy on June 13, 2016. Upon her graduation on January 9, 2017, she was sent to the 6th District for her first uniformed assignment. Officer Alix remained in this district until she received a transfer to the 2nd District on December 10, 2018. Officer Alix served 2.05 years of faithful and dedicated service to the Saint Louis Metropolitan Police Department. Officer Alix-Meyer was married to Officer Anthony J. Meyer, DSN 11188, of the Saint Louis Police Department.

Officer Alix-Meyer was a veteran of the Persian Gulf and served in the United States Army and achieved the rank of Specialist, which is an E-3.

Services: Funeral from KUTIS CITY CHAPEL, 2906 Gravois, Wednesday, January 30, 9:15 a.m. to The Basilica of St. Louis (New Cathedral) for 10 a.m. Mass.
