Services for Arden King, Sr.
Services were held Saturday at 11 a. m. at the George Chapel in Belton for Arden H. King, Sr., 58, of rural Belton. Burial was in the Belton Cemetery. Mr. King, a carrier for the Kansas City Star, died Dec. 31, apparently of a heart attack, at the wheel of his carrier truck near 104th Street.

Mr. King was born in St. Joseph and lived in the Kansas City area most of his life. He was a carrier in the southern part of Kansas City for the past ten years.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary E. King of the home; a son, Arden H. King, Jr., Belton; three daughters, Mrs. Vivian Lee Moore, Belton; Mrs. Hope Marie Curvin, Duke, Ala., and Mrs. Mary Alice Hayes of the home; his mother, Mrs. Edna King, Independence; three brothers, Ace King, Leawood, Kans.; Robert King, Sacramento, Calif., and Harold King, Mission, Kans.; a sister, Mrs. Virginia Robinson, Kansas City, and ten grandchildren.
