Carolyn Sophie Sciortino Kelly peacefully passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at the age of 94. She was a native of New Orleans and a resident of Covington for the past 10 years. She is preceded in death by her husband Edwin Kelly, her parents Lottie and Charles Sciortino, and sister Rita Sabella. Devoted mother of Pat Riche' (Bruce), and Larry Kelly (Joan). Grandmother of Kimberlee Kelly and Kristina Egert (Robert). Great-grandmother of Hannah and Sophie Egert. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends and beloved pet, Leo. The family is deeply grateful to the staffs of Heritage Manor of Franklinton, Heritage Manor of Mandeville and St. Catherine's Hospice for the loving care provided. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 75212 Lee Road, Covington, LA 70435 on Monday, April 21, 2014 at 12:00 PM. Visitation from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will be private.
