Patricia Doris Little, 77, Of Carmen, Idaho passed away February 20, 2018 in Salmon, Idaho.

Pat was born August 27, 1940 in Leominster, Massachusetts to Daniel and Louise (Paro) Marble. She attended Catholic elementary school in Leominster. The family then moved to Marlboro. While attending Marlboro High School Pat worked part time for the Five and Dime store and the Wayside Inn.

Pat married James Melvin Little on September 20, 1959 in Marlboro, Massachusetts at the Methodist Church. Jim was currently attending technical school in Biloxi, Mississippi. Pat joined him when he reached his permanent duty station in Limestone, Maine. Pat was a military wife for almost 28 years. She travelled to many stateside assignments and a couple of overseas assignments. While they were living on the island of Guam in the South Pacific, Pat gave birth to their daughter Kathy.

During their military postings Pat and Jim travelled together to many states. After Kathy joined them in Guam, they travelled to Michigan, England and upstate New York. They finished their career in San Bernardino, California, where Jim retired. While in California Pat worked for Southland Corporation as a buyer’s assistant and later for McLane’s Distribution Center as a data entry clerk. No matter where they were living Pat always managed to find herself a job. In England, she worked as a loss prevention officer in the local Army/Air Force Exchange. In 1998 Pat moved to Salmon to be with Jim. She had stayed behind to sell their house. She soon found work at King’s and worked there for many years. She also volunteered at EICAP along with Jim. In 2005 they were awarded the Beverly Branson Award for their volunteering.

Pat is survived by her husband Jim Little of Carmen, Idaho; Daughter Kathy (Dave) Batterton of Tendoy, Idaho; sister Marie Hawkins of Scarborough, Maine; sister-in-law Lindy Daley of Framingham, Massachusetts; brother-in-law Allyn (Diane) Little of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and one brother.
