Helen Keys, 90, passed away peacefully on Sunday morning.
Helen, better known as Hun, Aunt Hunny, Ma, Grandma Keys and Grammy, was born in 1926 and was part of the greatest generation living through the great depression and WWII. She married her childhood sweetheart, William Grabowski who passed away in 1956. They had one child, Gary.
She married John (Jack) Keys in 1961.
She enjoyed traveling to New England, being around her family, watching the NY Yankee's and Giants and keeping her house spotless. She was active in her Seniors group.
She is survived by her son, Gary (Wendy) Grabowski; 3 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; niece, Sherry Insalaco; brother Don and sister, Audrey; several other nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will take place Tuesday, 4-7 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse. A funeral service will follow. Burial to take place Wednesday in Assumption Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Francis House, 108 Michaels Ave, Syracuse.
