Julia “Judy” Waugh, 69, of Rivesville, died Saturday, January 19, 2019 at her residence. She was born January 27, 1949 in Farmington a daughter of the late Edward Lee and Madeline Moore Gum.

Judy was a homemaker and a devoted grandmother who dearly loved her grandchildren. She was also a wonderful cook and loved her dogs. She was a member of the Monumental United Methodist Church and co-owner of ABC Towing.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Wilmer D. Waugh, Jr. (Junior); 3 children: Wilmer D. (Becky) Waugh, III, TN, Tammy (Raymond) Fluharty, and Tonya (Eric Longwell) Harris, all of Rivesville; 7 grandchildren: Nicholas (Jill) Evenson, Nicole (Jeff) Fox, Hannah (Caleb) Colisino, Samantha (J.J.) Parrish, Mackenzie Fluharty, Brandon and Mikayla Harris; 6 great grandchildren: Jaxson and Rosalie Colisino, Hudson Fox, Aiden Parrish, Analise and Alexander “Little Man” Evenson; a sister: Penny Kay Gum, VA; 4 brothers: Edward L. Gum, Harold Gum, Donald Gum, John Paul Gum, all of Farmington; and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at the Hutson Funeral Home, 3171 Husky Highway, Farmington, on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. for a Celebration of Judy’s Life. Inurnment will be in the IOOF Cemetery at a later date.
