CLARENCE T. "George" HINKLE, formerly of Milton, was received by Angels into Heaven Sunday, March 27, 2005 in St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington. Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, April 1, 2005, at Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home, Columbus, Ohio with the Rev. Harry Miller and the Rev. Ken Skaggs officiating. Burial will follow in Northlawn Memory Gardens. He was born June 12, 1932, in Milton, W.Va., a son of the late Cecil and Agnes (Gibson) Hinkle. He also was preceded in death by three sisters, Ada Karr, Reba Young and Kathleen Duffer; and one brother, Howard Hubert Hinkle. Mr. Hinkle served his country in the Army Signal Corps and was employed by Cultural Resource Analysts, Inc., Hurricane, W.Va. He also retired from Timken Roller Bearing of Columbus, Ohio, after 24 years of service, was the founder and co-owner of MPC Studio of Columbus, Ohio, manager of bluegrass gospel singing group, "The Gospel Mountaineers," founder and manager of "Whitten Ridge" singing group, a member of the International Llama Registry, Tri-State Llama Caregivers and W.Va. Archeological Society and a 32nd degree Mason. He became an ordained minister of the gospel in 1969. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Maxine (Arthur) Hinkle of Columbus, Ohio; daughters, Linda (Ken) Skaggs of Plain City, Ohio and Debby (Joseph) Fodey of Gahanna, Ohio; grandchildren, Rachel "Raquel" Parks, John Pernell Jr., Joel (Erica) Skaggs, Scott Pernell and Jeremiah Fodey; great-grandchildren, Troy, Sabbath, McKayla, Autum and Lilyanne; sister, Florence (Arthur) Coleman of Milton; brothers, Glenn (Barbara) Hinkle of Centerburg, Ohio, Clay (Charlene) Hinkle of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and Lloyd (Peggy) Hinkle of Obetz, Ohio and a host of nieces, nephews and special friends. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Heck Funeral Home, Milton and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home, Columbus, Ohio.
