He was born in Mixon, Texas on March 3, 1926 and resided in Tyler, Texas. He was a member of Tyland Baptist Church. He proudly served in the United States Army as a Private First Class in WWII. He retired from ETTL Engineers and Consultants.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Susie Willingham; wife, Nellie B. Willingham; brothers, Clyde Willingham, J.T. Willingham; and sisters, Betty Swinney and Barbara Dickey.
He was survived by his son, Michael Willingham and wife Meifang Huang; daughters, Teresa Willingham and Cherie Willingham-Magness; grandsons, Jeffery Willingham and wife Whitney and Chase Magness; great-granddaughter, Aubrey Willingham; brother, Charlie Willingham; sister, Johnnie Corn; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jeffery Willingham and Chase Magness. Pallbearers will be Brandon Tompkins, Scott Smith, Gary Willingham, Jerod Kersh, David Swinney and Justin Kersh.
