Funeral services for William Johnston, 57, of Chowchilla, were held this afternoon at 4:30 at the Madert Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. David Land of Chowchilla officiated. Burial was in the Arbor Vitae cemetery. Survivors are: His widow. Ethel Johnston, Chowchilla; daughters, Alta and Velta Johnston, Chowchilla; Mrs. Opal Motelonga, Salinas; Mrs. Odessa Smith, Mrs. Lucille Rork and Lorene Johnston, Arizona; sons, Paul Johnston and Eugene Johnston, Arizona; mother, Mrs. Frank Johnston; four brothers and three sisters, all of Texas.
