Jean was born on June 30, 1920 in Antigo, Wisconsin, to Christopher and Grace (Foley) Janes. She was united in marriage to Lloyd J. Lee at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Antigo on May 12, 1941. Jean enjoyed her life’s journey of being a wife, homemaker, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Surviving are her children; Penny (Dan) Krueger Sr. of Rhinelander, Paul Lee of Algoma, Wisconsin and Patrick (Jeanine) Lee of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Lloyd Lee in 2004, daughter-in-law; Jill Lee and by three sisters and one brother.
The visitation for Jean will be held on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, located at the corner of King and Conro Street, from 12:00 p.m. until the 1:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Fr. Michael Tupa and Dn. Dick Meier will be officiating.
