"Suggested edit: Huldah Hamm of Bloomington passed away on Friday at Garden Villa, she was 97. She was a 1937 graduate of Bloomington High School and lived in Bloomington almost all of her life except for 2003-2015 in Greenfield. She returned to Bloomington in December. Huldah was born November 28, 1918, in Bloomington Hospital and grew up in Elwren. Her parents were James A. Bowers and Nora (Abrams) Bowers (both deceased). She had two sisters Beatrice Hamm (husband Ray) (both deceased) and Nina Abrams (husband Kenneth) (both deceased) . She had one brother Paul Bowers (wife Georgia) (deceased). She was married to Elmer Hamm in 1940 until his passing in 1975.She is survived by her son, William Hamm and his wife Dana of Greenfield.Huldah was proud of her many nieces and nephews and their children and was doubly proud of her double nephews and niece. She and her sister Beatrice married brothers, Elmer and Ray Hamm, giving several doubley related nephews and a niece: Robert (Wilma) Hamm, Russell Hamm, and Steve Hamm and Ruth Ellen (Ronnie) Freeman. Huldah was employed before pre-1975 at Jim's Market (previously Abrams market).
