Anita Darlene Anderson, of North Richland Hills, Texas went to be with the Lord on January 12, 2019 in Grapevine, Texas. She was born on September 11, 1953 in Alamogordo, New Mexico to Ted and Winifred Trent. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, sister, aunt and friend to all that knew and loved her.

Darlene, as she was called, is survived by a twin brother Daryl Trent of Frisco, Texas and a sister Sondra Thomas of Borger, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband Douglas Anderson and parents. She is survived by 3 nieces: Melissa True, Kelly Storey, Kristen Bourdier and 1 nephew Jimmy Thomas. She is also survived by step children: Kevin D. Anderson, Brenda Crosby, Patrick Anderson, and Patty Dingler. She graduated from Chinle High School in Chinle, Arizona and Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas. She worked for 34 years until retirement for the FAA. Darlene was passionate about her love for the Lord, being an American, her cats and football.

A special thank you to Bill and Swan Carpenter for the years of loving care and assistance they gave to Darlene.

A visitation will be held at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5727 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, TX 76034 on Wednesday, January 16 from 1:30p.m-3:00p.m with her service following visitation at 3:00p.m.
