Scott was born to Samuel & Dorinda (Scott) Winders. He married Edith Rush Feb. 22, 1911. They had no children.
OBITUARY OUT OF NEWSPAPER
Lilburn Scott Winders, the son of Mr and Mrs Samuel Winders was born Febrauary 22 1877 in Cooper county Missouri.
He received his education in the rural schools at Booneville, Missouri.
He became a member of the Mount Hermon Baptist church at the age of sixteen. Although a faithful and regualr attendant of the Hollinger church he kept his membership in the Mount Hermon Baptist church.
He was united in marriage February 22 1911 to Edith Rush at the Albert Rush home by Rev S.S. Lemonds. No children were born to this wedlock. His wife preceded him in death May 30 1924.
He has been a resident in the vicinity of Hollinger for the last 21 years. His life was spent in farming and miscellaneous occupations.
His sudden death took place April 17, 1939 at his hollinger home. He was 62 years, 1 month and 26 days of age. He leaves to mourn his passing a brother, Paul Winders, of Booneville, Mo., his father-in-law, Albert Rush, and many relatives and friends.
We feel deeply our loss, but believe that heaven has been enriched by his home-going.
Funeral services were held at the Hollinger church Thursday afternoon,
april 20, Rev C.R. Anderson, officiating. Music was furnished by Mrs Frank Malone, Mrs J Phillips, E.B. Kentfield, and Fred Henry. Burial was in the Deaver Cemetery.
