Eugene P. Cliff, 73, of Washburn, passed away suddenly due to an automobile accident on Monday, September 15, 2008, in Oneida County. He was born December 6, 1934, in Bayfield, the son of Ernest and Viva (Lace) Cliff.

On September 12, 1957, he married his beloved wife, Sharon R. Miller, in West Allis. She preceded him in death on August 8, 2008. They were residents of the Milwaukee area before moving to the Washburn area in 1985. Eugene and his beloved wife, Sharon, were foster parents in both the Milwaukee and Washburn areas. He was an arc welder at Allis Chalmers in West Allis for 28 years. He was a handyman like no other. According to his six children, "His wheels never stopped spinning." He will be forever remembered as a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, foster father and confidante to many.

He is survived by three sons, Randy (Birty) Cliff, Lake City, Fla., Ricky (Betty) Cliff, Big Bend and Rodney Cliff, Coral Springs, Fla.; three daughters, Ranae (John) Crozier, Kissimmee, Fla., Roxanne (Michael) Corbeille, West Allis and Rhonda (Jack) Little, Ashland; 13 grandchildren, Aaron, Jessica, Crystal, Amanda, Ryan, Casey, Charlae, Natasha, David, Brandon, Brianna, Morgan and Kassandra; three great-grandchildren, Tyler, Alexandria and Madison "Paige;" one sister, Rhadora Gray, Portage; two brothers, Farrell, Sioux City, Iowa and Myron, Mukwonago; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Besides his wife, Sharon, he was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Raymond, Donald, and Melvin Cliff; and a sister, Shirley Glen.
