Rites Here Saturday For William Seaman
William Bert Seaman, 83, 614 East Elm street, died Wednesday night in Redwood Falls hospital where he had been a patient six weeks. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Church of Christ. Friends may call at Hoepner funeral home after 3 p.m. Friday and at the church from noon until service time Saturday.

A son of William P. and Sarah Capps Seaman, he was born in Jefferson, Iowa, April 4, 1884. He lived in Iowa before coming to Redwood county in 1926. He married Ada Simning in Estherville, Iowa August 2, 1927 and they farmed near Delhi before retiring and moving to Redwood Falls in 1957.

Survivors include his wife, children Chester, Lanesboro, Iowa, Richard, Churdan, Iowa, Mrs. Ray (Lorraine) Smith, Jefferson, Mrs. John (Dorothy) Nurre, Tulsa, Okla., Romain and Bill, Redwood Falls; 15 grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Jay (Ruth) Stewart, Jefferson. One brother and five sisters preceded him in death.
