Filer- Mrs Hazel Rae Bowen, 50, 407 Yakima Ave, died Saturday in Magic Valley Memorial Hospital as a result of injuries received in a one-car accident on Highway 30 west of Twin Falls.
She was born on July 20, 1918, at Filer. She attended Filer school and was a member of the Filer Methodist Church. She had worked in several drug stores in this area in the cosmetics departments. She was married to James A Bowen on Jan 8, 1958, in Elko.
Surviving, besides her husband are a son,Gordon Hyder, Everett,Wash; her mother, Mrs Felix Turnipseed, Filer; a brother, Paul Turnipseed, Filer, and two sisters, Mrs Curtis (Edith) Smith, Twin Falls, and Mrs Earl (Thelma) Crouse, Filer.
Funeral services are pending at White Mortuary.
