Filer- Robert Alvin Bennion, 56, Berkeley, Calif, former Filer resident, died Wednesday in Berkeley after a short illness.
Born 9-18-1919 in Wyoming. Mr Bennion served in thee U S Air Force during World War II.
On Aug 8, 1944, he married Helen Bowen at Smoky Hill Air Force Base in Kansas.
Mr Bennion was a member of the LDS Church and at the time of his death was manager of a hotel.
Surviving are four sons, James, Kelly, Jerry Bennion, all of Filer, and Jack Bennion, U S Navy, his mother and two grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr Bennion will be at 2 pm Monday in the Filer Ward LDS Church by Bishop LeRoy Kohntopp.
Friends may call at White Mortuary Chapel Saturday evening, Sunday and until 11 am Monday and at the church form noon until service time.
