Mr. Johnson died Friday, July 21, at his residence.
He was born June 27, 1934, in Athens to George Redman and Agnes Corece Cantrell Johnson. He married Quinda Fay Davis on Aug. 21, 1959, in Bell County. He was a diesel mechanic.
Survivors include his wife of Austin; three sons, Danny Ray Johnson of Belton, Charlie Johnson of Rogers and Ronnie Johnson of Beaumont; three daughters, Sharon Johnson Kimberlain of Beaumont, Angela Michelle Johnson of Austin and Sue Ann Johnson of Bastrop; three brothers, Terry Johnson and William Johnson, both of Belton, and George Johnson of Mesquite; two sisters, Linda Mosley and Margaret Keaton, both of Belton; 19 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Paul’s-Robson Funeral Home in Hugoton, Kan., is in charge of arrangements.
