Margie Abbott, 93, died January 6, 2019. She was born October 31, 1925, in Bridgeport, Kansas to Walter and Ruth Byrn. She graduated from Claflin HS in 1943. She married Roy Beck and he later died; she married Lawrence Abbott and he later died.

She leaves 3 children: Gary (Diane) Beck, Linn (Jim) Barratt , and Gin (Jerry) Russell. 3 step-children: Teresa (Russell) Smith, Susan (Denzil) Spendlove, and Donna (Mike) Oliver. Also, her brother, Wendell Byrn, and her niece, Debby Fisher; 15 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. She and Larry travelled the world and had a wonderful life together.

Graveside service will be held Friday, January 11, 2019 at 1 PM at the North Morgan Cemetery.
