Catherine Winters, nee Treece, 67, of Caseyville, Ill., born on August 12, 1946 in St. Louis, Mo., passed away Friday, Feb. 28, 2014 at her residence.
Mrs. Winters was a member of the Granite City Four Square Church, Granite City, Ill. She was a grandma to everyone.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy R. Winters, whom she married on Jan. 4, 1966 in St. Louis, Mo. and passed away on July 11, 2012; her parents, Robert Eugene and Anna Daisy, nee Cummings, Treece; brothers and sisters, Edith Vaughn, Jenny Starks, Larry Treece, Pauline Robinson, Shirley Jean Treece, Spencer Ray Treece, Alton Treece, Buddy Treece and Kenneth Dale Treece.
Surviving are her daughter and four sons, Paula (Daniel) Hall of St. Louis, Mo., Winford (Stephanie) Treece of Pontoon Beach, Ill., Jimmy (Cookie) Winters of Caseyville, Ill., Robert (Donna Warix) Winters of Alton, Ill., and Troy (Connie) Winters of Collinsville, Ill.; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
