Final Rites For Clyde Cockrell Said at Sharon
Last rites were conducted Monday morning at 11 o'clock from the Sharon Presbyterian Church for Clyde Oree Cockrell, age 34, of the Shady Grove community. Rev. H. B. Rushing officiated, assisted by Rev. W. F. Sharpe.
He passed away Saturday, July 12, at his residence in the Shady Grove community, near Magee.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Verna Mae Cockrell; two sons, Reedale and Myram Cockrell; father, Johnny L. Cockrell; brother, Hulon Cockrell; 2 sisters, Mrs. Carrie Tebo and Mrs. Louis Sellers, all of near Magee.
Interment was in the Sharon cemetery under the direction of Mendenhall Funeral Home.
