* Funeral mass for Mrs. Hilda Frances Troy, age 91, of Fayetteville, TN will be conducted at 2 PM on Friday, January 11, 2019 at St. Anthony Catholic Church with Reverend Father Stephen Klasek officiating. Burial will follow next to her husband, John P. Troy, V, in Higgins Cedar Hills Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Troy was born on January 7, 1928 in Oxford, MS to the late Cordis and Katie Howe Sanders. She worked as a saleswoman for Sabghi Jewelers, was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, and was the oldest founding member of the first Catholic Church in Lincoln County. Mrs. Troy passed away on January 8, 2019 at her residence.
Survivors include her three children, ten grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Hazel M. Dubberly.
Visitation with the family will be at 6 PM until 8 PM on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Higgins Funeral Home.
