Ada Earline Caldwell age 80, of Whitesburg, passed away Sunday, January 6, 2019 in a local hospital surrounded by her family. She was born October 7, 1938 in Cleburne County Alabama to her parents Ada and Benjamin White. She was preceded in death by her husband James Caldwell, her 5 brothers and 3 sisters, and her beloved dog Zack. She is survived by her son Alan Caldwell, her grandson, Caleb Caldwell and her sister, Pauline Johnson.
After graduating Bowdon High School, she attended Business College in Atlanta and then worked in Atlanta in the insurance industry for 44 years.
She loved all things musical, including gospel singing and playing the piano. She also enjoyed the outdoors, dancing, and writing poetry and music.
She was a life-long devoted Christian and has been a member of Consolation Baptist Church for 15 years. She was loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed.
Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 1:00PM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with _ Rev. Mike Powers officiating. Interment will follow in Welcome United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 8th from 5:00 until 7:00PM.
