Son of Daniel Andreas (1784–1861) and Maria Gertrude Guldner Andreas (1783–1850) He married Phoebe Houser ( 1818–1860) and together they had 11 known children: Sarah Andrews (1841–?), William Andrews (1841–1915), Rebecca Andrews Whetstone (1843–1902), Daniel Andrews (1844–1905), Hannah M Andrews Zimmerman (1846–1909), John J Andrews (1848–1924), Joshua Andrews (1853–?), Mary Andrews (1854–?), James Albert Andrews (1856–1922), Lewis P Andrews (1859–1922) and Kathryne Andrews Garnhart (1859–1929). His occupation was that of a farmer. It is not certified where he rests. He may rest near Saint Johns Lutheran-Brick Church Cemetery near Montgomery, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, USA. A plot was purchased when Peter died but we are still searching for confirmation that that is his true resting place. There are many graves that have not weathered well through the years and are unreadable.
