She was a member of Trinity English Lutheran Church and worked for Magnavox for 17 years in Data Entry.
Norma enjoyed the “Club” of 7 school friends that would meet each month. Along with enjoying her grandchildren’s sporting events, each year along with her husband she would go to Canada and fish for walleye.
Surviving is her husband Edward Peterson, children; Mark (Marcia) Peterson, Barry (Trisha) Peterson, Kim (Tom) Heckman, Cindy Headford, Jerry (Amber) Peterson 14 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson, brothers; Norman (Cara) Shipley and Steve (Kim) Shipley.
Norma was preceded in death by a sister Sharon Bunnell and a brother Richard Shipley.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday January 11, 2019 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with calling from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
