Lucille Katherine Brown died May 26, 2007 in Little Rock. She was born in North Little Rock, Arkansas January 10, 1912. Her parents were Louis and Martha Luhrsen and she had one brother Louis Luhrsen.
She married Leland Brown, May 14, 1944, in North Little Rock where he was stationed in the Army. After returning from WWII they moved to Fayetteville, Arkansas. Over her lifetime she had the opportunity to live in New York, Arizona and California before returning to Little Rock in 1988. Her many hobbies included: playing the organ, singing in church choirs and volunteering at the Children's Hospital of Orange County, California. She was a member of Highland Valley Methodist Church. Preceding her in death was her beloved husband Leland Brown and the joy of her life, her son Leland Frederick Brown.
A graveside service will be 1:00 P.M., Thursday, May 31, 2007 at Edgewood Cemetery, North Little Rock officiated by Rev. Linda McCormick, niece of Lucille Brown.
