Cecil Gilbert Blackburn, 71, of King William, Va, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 2, 2019.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of over 50 years, Margie Rose Blackburn; parents, Walter B. and Marie E. Blackburn and brother, Russell Blackburn.
He is survived by his children, Gilbert C. Blackburn Jr. (Tabitha), Tammy L. Blackburn and Donna M. Reynolds (Jesse); grandchildren, Katie, Josh, Justin and Kyle; great-grandchildren, Christian and Sebastian; brothers, Jimmy Blackburn (Pat), Ronnie Blackburn (Connie) and Kenny Blackburn (Wanda); sister-in-law, Ginger Blackburn and many other loving family members and friends.
The family would like to thank his special caregivers, Lauren and T.T.. A Celebration of Cecil's Life will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Morrissett Funeral and Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. (rt. 10). Interment will follow at 1pm at Maury Cemetery in Richmond, VA.
