Albert Caleb Crocker was the son of Hezekiah H. & Mary J. (McBride) Crocker. He emigrated from Canada in 1885-90. He first married in 1898 to Edith M. Patzold, a German emigrant who come over in 1883 with her parents, August & Amelia Patzold, who lived with them in Westwood by 1910. They had no children. He worked in the railroad freight office. By the 1920 census he was a turnkey at the county jail in Westwood and lived with his sister Ruth's family.
He had married Winifred Boylen in 1921, who was also born in Canada. By 1930, they owned their home in Westwood and he was an officer at the jail.
He was a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows - also known as "The Three Link Fraternity" which stands for Friendship, Love and Truth.
