Funeral services for Julius K. Paustian, 79, of 3320 Spring St., Davenport, who died yesterday at Mercy Hospital, Davenport, will be 1PM tomorrow at Runge Chapel, Davenport. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.
Visitation is 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM today.
Surviving are his wife Leta; a daughter Mrs. James McDowell of Colona; two grandchildren and a brother, Ernest Paustian of Davenport.

Julius Karl Paustian was born in Stoltenberg Germany and came to the USA in 1926. Two brothers came to America too, but he never saw the rest of his family again. He married Leta McAfee in 1946. He worked for farmers until retirement in 1971. He was a quiet gentle man who enjoyed the outdoors and appreciated the land, enjoyed fishing, loved animals and grew beautiful flowers after retirement.
