FRANCIS BOTZKOVIS

Francis Botzkovis, an old and highly respected resident of the town of Kewaskum, passed away in death at his home at 4:15 a.m. on Wednesday, March 28th, 1923, after an illness of but three days with bronchial pneumonia. Deceased was born in France on Dec. 26, 1942, and immigrated to this country May 1, 1868, settling on the site of his present homestead where he remained during his life. On May 20, 1873, he took unto himself a life partner, Miss Elizabeth Miller, of Barton, who survives him together with six children, namely: Katie (Mrs. E. J. Hanke) of Antigo; Frank of the town of Kewaskum; Minnie ( Mrs. Joe Sukowaty Jr.) of the town of Wayne; Lizzie, Marie and John on the homestead. Two children preceded their father in death. The funeral will be held from the St. Bridget’s Church on Monday morning, April 2nd, at 10 o’clock. Rev. Ph. Vogt will officiate. Burial will take place in St. Bridget’s cemetery. The surviving relatives have the heartfelt sympathy of the entire community in their hour of bereavement.
