KIRBYVILLE, Jan. 17

James Seborn Hall, 76, died in a Beaumont hospital Tuesday morning after a short illness.

Mr Hall was born in Louisiana and had lived here for approximately 40 years. He was a retired farmer and was a member of the North End Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Zion Hill Church of Highway 96. The Rev. B.L. Sherrod, pastor of the Central Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the adjacent cemetery directed by the E.E. Stringer Funeral Home.

Survivors are two sons, Ernest, who is with the armed forces and is en route home from Okinawa and Eddie Hall of Kirbyville; seven daughters, Mrs. S.T. Wood, Mrs. Jimmie Lee Kelley, Mrs. Bonnie Van Pelt, all of Kirbyville, Mrs. Lucy Sonnier, Beaumont, Mrs. Martha Brockman and Miss Fay Hall of Deweyville and Mrs. Shirley Ray of Houston; seven brothers, Dave of Pineland, Tom of Jasper, Nonie of Beaumont, Cletus of Newton, Curtis of Port Arthur and Joe and Charles Hall of Silsbee; three sisters, Mrs. Jane Turner of Kirbyville, Mrs Nellie McClelland and Mrs. Lizzie McClelland, both of Silsbee and 17 grandchildren.
