Funeral services for Kenneth Chappell, 60, of Wisner, will be 10 am Monday, December 17, 2018, in the chapel of Gill First National Funeral Home, with Rev. Lannie Head officiating. Interment will follow in South Central Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 - 8 pm Sunday, December 16, 2018, at the funeral home.

Kenneth was born October 19, 1958, in Lake Charles and passed from this life on Thursday, December 13, 2018, in Winnsboro.

Mr. Chappell was an ironworker, avid motorcycle rider, and outdoors man who enjoyed fishing and hunting; he was also involved in many benefit rides. He loved his children and grandchildren to whom he was "Paw".

He is preceded in death by his father, Howard Chappell and sister, Karen Burns.

Survivors include his children: Cassie Chappell Boughton and husband Chris, Will Chappell and wife Ariel, and Montana Sterling; mother, Alice Kilgore; six siblings: Cindy Roberts, Mike Burns, Randolph Allen Chappell, Byron Chappell, Donnie Chappell and Kevin Chappell; stepmother, Elaine Chappell; four step siblings: Jeff Stephens, Mike Stephens, Debbie Gibbs, and Keith Stevens; six grandchildren: Elijah, Levi and Livvy Boughton, Baylee, Ren, and Jade Chappell; a host of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Cody Berry, Mike Eppinette, Blane Melancon, Stanley Ogden, Jeff Pylant, and Johnny Tannehill.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Gossett, Billy Jack Lewis and Luke Lewis.
