Jennie Bilbo, age 89, of Nella, passed away December 29, 2018. She was born on July 12, 1929 to Guy and Lillie White in Hickory Plains, Arkansas.

Some of Jennie's favorite things to do were rescuing abandoned flowers, quilting, sewing and reading Louis L'Amour westerns. She enjoyed rabbit hunting and fishing with her late husband of 63 years David "Buddy" Bilbo whom she simply called "Bilbo". Friends knew they could always be offered a fresh cup of coffee whenever they visited.

She is preceded in death by her parents; 5 brothers, Guy Jr., Gilbert, David, James and Van; her husband Bilbo and her daughter Faye.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Johnie and Glenda Bilbo of Nella; daughter and son-in-law Annetta and Ronald Cox of Nella; daughter and son-in-law Connie and Michael Booty of Dover, Arkansas; 4 grandchildren: Lisa, Sarah, Alivia and Christopher, 3 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson.

Jennie's graveside life celebration will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Shiloh Cemetery with Rev. Mike Shaddon officiating. Interment will follow. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.

Jennie's pallbearers will be Randall Beaty, Ronnie Cox, Barton DuCharme, Bill Jones, Tom Murdock and Dee Parker.

In Lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave. Floor 17 Chicago, IL 60601 or https://act.alz.org/donate.
