Her parents preceded her in death.
Leita is survived by a brother, Donald Reece, of Phillipsburg, Missouri; two sisters, Wanda Reece, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Donna Breazeale, of Phillipsburg, Missouri; seven nieces and nephews; eighteen great-nieces and great-nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in California and graduated from Santa Ynez Valley Union High School, in Santa Ynez, California, in the Class of 1972. She later moved to Lebanon, Missouri, where she worked at the Wal Mart Store for twenty-eight years.
Leita had made her profession of faith in Christ and was a longtime active member of Second Baptist Church in Lebanon.
She was an avid scrapbook maker, and had made many scrapbooks over the years. She also enjoyed collecting lighthouses and made “no sew” blankets in her spare time. Her family was very dear to her and she especially enjoyed her nieces and nephews.
Leita was a loving sister, aunt, great-aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her lifetime.
