HARTMAN - Friday afternoon, October 30, 1953 at his home on Old Hickory blvd., Mount View community. Charles Rush Hartman, age 81 years. Survived by daughter, Mrs. Mary Wood of Antioch, Tenn.; sons, Roy L. and Claude P. Hartman, of Nashville; sister, Mrs. Tom Barnes of Brentwood, Tenn.; brothers, J.P. Hartman of Antioch, L.J. and L.C. Hartman of Nashville; seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.

Remains are at the Ellis & Kidd Funeral Home, 2627 Nolensville Road. Funeral services from the Mount View Baptist Church Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, by the Rev. R.M. Coolidge and the Rev. B.V. Christian. The following will serve as pallbearers: Honorary, Dr W.P. Law, T.J. Robinson, Claude A. Briley, E.M. Baker, Granville Sawyer, Robert Bonds, Frank Stroud, W.H. McMurray, Sr., R.T. Briley, Herman York, Howard Lambert, Ernest Williams, A.E. Garrett, and R.H. White; Active: Roger Kimbro, Ewing Kimbro, Fermin Barnes, A.G. Hartman, Ernest Hartman, O.G. Hartman, John E. Hartman and Lester Turbeville. Internment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
