ESTHER E. (Nannie) HOLMES, 79, of Rt. 10, Hagerstown, died Tuesday at Washington County Hospital. Born in Washington County, she was a daughter of John William and Rosie Mae Thomas Jamison, and the widow of Earl Franklin Holmes.
She was a member of Hagerstown Bible Church and Ladies Bible Class of the church.
She is survived by a daughter, Geraldine Durbin, Hagerstown; sister, Ruth Ellen Holmes, Boonsboro; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel. Burial in Rest Haven Cemetery.
