Sweet Corrine, our example of enduring well difficult days, slipped the bonds of this earthly existence, June 14, 2018. She endured more than 20 years of a debilitating neurological disease called, Ataxia.

Corrine was an elementary school teacher for 17 years until she needed to retire to deal with the effects of her disease. She loved her colleagues and the students she taught. She will be remembered for her exuberant and loving personality and for the enthusiastic way she tackled every task in her life.

Corrine graduated with honors from Spanish Fork High School, was a T. H. Bell Scholarship recipient, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Utah State University. Some of her passions in life were: Her family, playing the piano, cooking, sewing, and gardening.

She was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and loved serving the young children of the Primary and the women around her. Corrine served a mission to the Geneva Switzerland Mission, and delighted in speaking French whenever she had an opportunity. One of her most treasured assignments was serving in a young single adult ward and stake where her enthusiasm and love were an inspiration to those who knew her.

Though travail and difficulty were her companions for much of her adult life, she will always be remembered as an inspiration of bright hope and devoted faith to those of us who remember her resolute determination.

Corrine is survived by: Her husband, John R. Spencer; and dearest of all, her two children: Christopher James (Camille) Spencer, and Anne (Chayse) Davis; and four grandchildren: James Robert Spencer, Wyat Ephraim Davis, Finn David Spencer, and Leigha Corrine Davis. Siblings: Steven (Pauline), Chris, (Kay), Evalee (Raymon), Mary Ann (Hal), Don Jay (Diana), and Derek (Bernita). Corrine was preceded in death by her parents, Don J and Corrine Applegate, and siblings; David Applegate, Mickie Evans, and Karrie Lyn Vance. We love you, Corrine. Till we meet again.
