Rev. Nathaniel Burnett “N.B.” Jordan, 91, of Moultrie, died Friday, December 14, 2018 at Park Regency.

Born January 10, 1927 in Moultrie, he was the son of the late Jackson William Jordan and Sally Giles Jordan.

Rev. Jordan served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He pastored several Baptist churches throughout South Georgia for over fifty years and was also associated with the U.S.D.A. Soil Conservation Service. His family remembers how he was a very giving man and gave unconditional love. He loved gardening and always enjoyed being outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Samantha McEver Jordan; a daughter, Judy Jordan Duncan; a child in infancy; son-in-law, Wayne Duncan; brothers, William Jordan and Eddie Jordan; sisters, Doris DeLong and Mozelle Coleman.

Survivors include his daughter, Julia “Jay” Jordan of Moultrie; two sons, Sgt. Major Jack Maurice Jordan (U.S.A. Retired) and wife Sharon of Glennville, Ga. and Daniel Burnett Jordan and wife Debbie of Sasser, Ga.; one brother, Gurland Jordan of Moultrie; four sisters, Odel Cato, Faye Rowe, Lois Goodroe and Virginia Asbell and husband Grady, all of Moultrie; seven grandchildren, Shane Jordan and wife Tracy, Toni Jordan, Sean Bowers, Dusty Brazel and wife Erin, Jennifer Poling, Renee Poling and Chris Jordan; twelve great-grandchildren, Louise Jordan, Sofie Jordan, Sadie Jordan, Esten Hung, Briley Bowers, Baxley Bowers, Tanner Anderson, Carter Brazel, a great-granddaughter on the way, Eliza Jane Brazel, Zack Poling, Lisa Swartz and Josh Swartz.
