She was born in Salt Lake City to Franklin and Lucille McGrath Knowles. She married her sweetheart, Donald E. Wigren, Sr., in Salt Lake City; he preceded her in death.
Pat enjoyed painting ceramics with her best friend and cousin, Waneta Ensign. She filled the homes of her family members with her beautiful crafts. She loved being with family and friends. Pat retired from Granite School Food Service.
Pat is survived by her sons, Donald E. (Carlene) Wigren, Jr., and Russell L. Wigren; daughters, Karen (John) Kristensen and Susan (Alan) Hall; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Franklin "Bud," Leo, Dave, and Charles.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, December 31, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the Salt Lake City Cemetery, 4th Avenue and N Street, Salt Lake City. A visitation will be held on Monday from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street (100 East), Murray.
